The three-color plum monaka comes in three varieties: red plum, white plum, and twilight plum, which faithfully reproduce the plum blossoms. Each variety is made with a particular attention to the filling, which is a chidori bean paste, a smooth bean paste, and an ogura bean paste, and is well-received for its exquisite balance with the monaka skin.
